BENJII (Ben Bui | B. 2004 Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam) is a visual artist currently based in Toronto, Canada.
Indulged in an illustrative style of figurative art with astute virtuosity in acrylic, oil and graphite, he is producing works in visual thematics of surrealism and the hyper-romantic, grappling with the vastness of Eastern and Western influences of experiential culture, image-making, and the sublime. He has received his first grant from the prestigious Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation and is currently completing his Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting at OCAD University.
